Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
We’ll train you to become a reliable nursing assistant.
The Basic Nurse Aide Training Program will prepare students interested in careers in the healthcare field, specifically the nurse aide training program. This course is designed for students who are interested in caring for those in need of assistance such as elderly persons, those with cognitive issues, multiple co-morbidities, etc. Students will perform ADLs such as bathing, ambulating, turning for those in need, or assisting those in need with these functions. Students who take this course will complete 120 hours of instruction, 60 hours in theory, 20 hours in lab, and 40 hours of clinical. The hybrid course offers 60 hours of instruction online with the remaining course hours on campus or clinical. Students will receive a certificate of completion upon successful completion of the course. Exam Eligibility: Students who complete and pass the nurse aide training program will be eligible to sit for the state-certified nursing assistant exam ($85 exam fee)
ÁNMUT Nursing School offers a Nurse Aide Training Program that has been approved by the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Illinois Board of Higher Education. This program is 120 hours for both the day and evening class and once successfully completed prepares students to sit for the Illinois State Certified Nursing Assistant Exam. The course cost is $1,650 and covers the following: Instructor, Malpractice insurance, Textbook, Uniform, BP cuff/ Stethoscope, Lab supplies, Clinical site, and CPR certification. Students will need a second hand watch and white leather shoes, however these items are NOT included in tuition. This course is offered in a day format and evening format. Program Calendar
The course is offered in a Classroom format as well as a Hybrid Learning Model.
- Classroom Format: Students must report to the school daily and the clinical site during the clinical rotation.
- Hybrid Learning Model: Students will take 60 hours of the course online, 20 hours on campus in the lab, and 40 hours of hands-on experience in clinicals at the clinical site. Class hours for both options are the same and are seen below. Students will need a computer or access to a computer as well as WIFI for the hybrid learning program. Students will also need email access for login credentials and be knowledgeable with regards to basic computer technology functions such as typing and mouse use.

Prerequisites
The following are requirements that are needed in order to attend ÁNMUT
- PPD Test Negative
- High school diploma or GED
- Two forms of government issued ID's
- Background Check
- In lieu of a GED or high school diploma, students make take a literacy entrance exam. This is an exam composed of reading, writing, and math. Student must obtain a 70% on the entrance exam in order to pass the exam and be admitted to the BNATP.
Admission Process
- 1. Initial Meeting: Students interested in enrolling in this course will schedule to meet with our Training Coordinator.
- 2. Enrollment/Registration: For the successful enrollment and the reservation of a seat in the class, all students without exception, must complete the following prerequisites:

- 6. Payment: A non-refundable registration fee of $100 is due at time of registration. Full tuition payment must be received before the first day of class. Please note that applicants will not be considered enrolled until the enrollment agreement has been signed and deposit made.
- 7. All deposits or down payments shall become part of the tuition and/or fees.

On-site Courses
ÁNMUT Nursing School conducts clinical instruction and simulation in laboratories to ensure that our students acquire the skills they need. Our laboratories simulate an actual healthcare facility environment and are complete with all the essential medical features and equipment. We make use of multimedia resources and provide students with hands-on demonstrations to ensure that they learn everything they need to know by the completion of our CNA course.

Terms and Conditions
STUDENTS’ RIGHT TO CANCEL
The student reserves the right to cancel this contract anytime. Should the student decide to cancel this contract, the student must provide a notice of cancellation within five (5) business days following the acceptance of the student by ÁNMUT Nursing School. The student will have no further obligation and will be given a full refund of any application/registration fee, tuition, or other instructional charges when the terms and conditions are met.
- A. If the student submits a notice of cancellation before midnight of the fifth business day after the enrollment date, but before the first day of class, the student will be given a full refund of any application/registration fee, tuition, or other instructional charges that have been paid.
- B. If the student submits a notice of cancellation after midnight of the fifth business day following the acceptance of the student, but before the end of the student’s first day of class attendance, ÁNMUT Nursing School may retain the application/registration fee, not exceeding $150 or 50% of the cost of tuition (whichever is less).
- C. If the student submits a notice of cancellation after completion of the first day of class, but before the completion of 5% of the course instruction, ÁNMUT Nursing School will give the student a 10% refund of the tuition and other instructional charges paid by the student up to $300 (no exceeding), less the cost of any books or instructional materials that have been provided by ÁNMUT Nursing School.
- D. If the student submits a notice of cancellation after completion of 5% of the course instructions before completion of 60% of the course, ÁNMUT Nursing School will retain the application or registration fee, a tuition amount prorated by days in class, and other instructional charges.
- E. If the student submits a notice of cancellation after completion of over 60% of the course, ÁNMUT Nursing School will retain the application/registration fee and the complete tuition fee and other charges paid by the student measured by days in class.
- F. If the student who, on personal initiative and without solicitation, enrolls, starts, and completes a course of instruction before the 7th calendar day after this Enrollment Agreement is signed, the student will NOT be subject to the refund provisions of this section.
